「hitaruのひととき ひろしま神楽」公演予告／”Moments at hitaru Hiroshima Kagura” short movie

およそ300もの神楽団体がある広島県でも、中央に位置する安芸高田（あきたかた）市は、特に豊かな神楽文化があることで知られています。安芸高田市の神楽は、昔から大切にされてきた「神様を楽しませる」という神事であるとともに、観客を楽しませる多彩な演出や強い演劇性を持つ伝統芸能として、長い間子どもから大人まで多くの人々に愛され、独自の進化を遂げてきました。今回の公演では、高いエンターテインメント性が魅力の「羽佐竹神楽団（はさだけかぐらだん）」が登場し、土蜘蛛や8体の巨大大蛇の勇壮な演舞を披露します。
また、公演当日hitaruホワイエでは、衣裳・道具の特別展示コーナー、衣裳着付け体験（事前予約不要）、広島物産展も開催します。公演とあわせてお楽しみください。

Kagura: Dances of prayers dedicated to the divine
Located in the heart of Hiroshima Prefecture in western Japan, Akitakata City is renowned for its rich cultural heritage of kagura, traditional Shinto music and dance performances. The term kagura is written in Japanese using the characters for “gods” and “enjoyment.” This art form has been cherished throughout Japan as both a folk performing art and a Shinto ritual passed down since ancient times. Kagura in Akitakata City, which originated over 300 years ago, has also achieved its own evolution over time. Its diverse performances with rich, enthralling theatrics have captured the hearts of audiences of all ages. This event will showcase a multitude of fantastical spirits, brought to life by the renowned Hasadake Kagura Troupe, known for its outstanding entertainment. Delight in the dynamic dances featuring the Earth Spider and a colossal serpent—an experience not to be missed. Moreover, events are planned in the hitaru foyer on the day of the performance, including the exhibition of kagura attire and props, and a photo opportunity to wear kagura attire (only while the venue is open). Kagura merchandise and products from Hiroshima Prefecture will also be sold. Relish a moment of immersion into the profound and authentic traditions of Japan at hitaru.
